Do you remember me?

Do you remember me?

Here you will find a window a glimpse into my youth,
When I answered my country`s call to fight for freedom and for truth,
I was simply one of thousands who rallied to the bugles call,
Long forgotten by my Country left to wither and to fall,
I never claimed to be a hero,I did my duty true,
Almost gone from living memory can I ask one thing of you?
Look into all these windows, tell me what it is you see,
I am in them if you look closely.Do you remember me?

Thanks for looking

Jim

Do you remember me?

How many times have we looked at a photograph and wondered who it was starring back at us? Is it not just a little sad that these people whom we owe so much are simply `forgotten`.In this section are placed photographs of Durham Light Infantrymen who it is hoped will be recalled by family and friends and identified as such.If you recognise anyone please do get in touch using either the homepage email addresses or via my guestbook .

They deserve to be remembered .Please take a moment to look ..a friend,a brother,an uncle,a Grandfather a Father. They all have names help me to remember those this world has forgotten.
